<p><strong>About The Role</strong></p>
<p>The <strong>House of Stake (HoS)</strong> is the decentralized, token-based governance body within the NEAR ecosystem, operating at the intersection of governance, legal structure, funding flows, and stakeholder coordination.</p>
<p>As HoS evolves in scope and operational complexity, we need a dedicated <strong>Operations Manager, hired by the House of Stake Foundation, </strong>to establish independent operations capacities, and ensure structural rigor, documentation integrity, payment execution reliability, and full operational visibility across initiatives.</p>
<p>This is not a generic ops role, it is governance-critical infrastructure.</p>
<h2><strong>What’ll You’ll Do</strong></h2>
<p>Currently, operational responsibilities (documentation, payment tracking, contract coordination, reporting) are distributed across leadership.</p>
<p>To scale responsibly and reduce operational risk, we need a single owner who:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ensures all documentation and contracts are complete and accessible</li>
<li>Executes and tracks payments reliably</li>
<li>Maintains operational oversight across HoS initiatives</li>
<li>Creates structured, audit-ready systems</li>
<li>Enables Governance leadership to focus on strategy rather than administration</li>
</ul>
<p>The HoS Operations Manager will be responsible for:<br><strong>Operational integrity, documentation completeness, payment execution, and governance process reliability.</strong></p>
<p>They will act as the connective tissue between:</p>
<ul>
<li>HoS Foundation</li>
<li>HoS Governance, and Head of Governance</li>
<li>NEAR Foundation Legal</li>
<li>NEAR Foundation Finance</li>
<li>External stakeholders</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>A. Documentation &amp; Contract Oversight</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Ensure all contracts, amendments, and supporting documents are properly executed and stored</li>
<li>Maintain a centralized contract tracker</li>
<li>Track approval workflows and ensure no agreements proceed without required sign-offs</li>
<li>Ensure documentation is audit-ready and systematically organized</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with Legal on contract lifecycle<br><br></li>

<h3><strong>B. Payment Execution &amp; Financial Coordination</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Prepare and execute (crypto and FIAT) payment requests</li>
<li>Ensure documentation and approvals are complete before payment processing</li>
<li>Track payment status and reconcile commitments</li>
<li>Maintain budget visibility across HoS activities</li>
<li>Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely execution<br><br></li>

<h3><strong>C. Operational Tracking &amp; Visibility</strong></h3>

<li>Maintain a live overview of all HoS initiatives and commitments</li>
<li>Track milestones, dependencies, and execution risks</li>
<li>Flag delays, compliance gaps, or missing documentation</li>
<li>Develop lightweight reporting dashboards for leadership<br><br></li>

<h3><strong>D. Process Design &amp; Systems</strong></h3>

<li>Design scalable operational workflows</li>
<li>Create clarity around handoffs between Governance, Legal, and Finance</li>

<li>Experience building or formalizing operational systems<br>&l
