Community and Growth Manager

We are a lean team with a flat organization. As part of the Community Team, you will work closely together with team members in the USA, Zug and in other remote locations. We are open to receive remote applications from exceptional candidates.
- Organising campaigns for community growth and engagement
- Supporting and executing broader marketing, community and growth initiatives
- Assisting with various responsibilities in the Polkadot Ambassador program, such as engaging with community members, updating resource lists, managing a CRM
- Communicating and syncing with social media managers, content creators, technical educators, developer advocates and other stakeholders
- Moderating the Discord server, keeping it clean, free of spam and proactively managing for channel growth
- Supporting the strategy building of Polkadot / Kusama subreddits activation and engagement
- Assisting the Polkadot community with meetups and other community-organised events
- Providing data-driven insights and feedback to management and team members
- 3+ years experience in community management and/or marketing
- Proficiency and understanding of the crypto/blockchain space
- Knowledge and experience of community building and/or open source community building
- Ability to introduce and moderate best practices or frameworks for community development and growth
- Experience with community chat platforms, related tools and integrations (Discord, Reddit, forums,...)
- Experience leading community initiatives like AMAs, ambassador programs, advocacy programs, etc.
- Ability to quickly learn and teach new technologies and frameworks
- Native level English is a must, other languages are a plus
- Bachelors and/or Marketing degree
- Experience with Hubspot and or similar marketing/community tools
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages
- Previous startup experience
- Practical experience of working with the crypto / decentralized technology space, and open source, privacy-minded communities
