Clearsight GmbH is a Swiss single-family office that owns Clearsight Investments AG (”Clearsight”, www.clearsight.ch) and Clearstar Labs AG (”Clearstar Labs”, www.clearstar.xyz).

Clearsight, founded in 2008, is a large private equity firm with over EUR 800 million of assets under management from major pension funds, insurance companies, and endowments, regulated by financial regulators in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and the USA.

Using our own capital, in spring of 2022, we founded Clearstar Labs. We believe that the Internet has become an oligopolistic Disneyland with little innovation, and that central banks have corrupted money, the operating system of society. Blockchain could be the answer. To assist in bringing this better future faster, Clearstar is developing DeFi Investments and DeFi Research areas, bring institutional grade infrastructure into the space.

Mission:

Shape the future of finance with us! We are on the hunt for an extraordinary DeFi wizard to join us in crafting and implementing robust DeFi investment strategies though protocol research, detailed automatization and optimization, and risk management. You will work with our internal team and external research providers to:

• Study DeFi protocols to find innovative ways of combining them the “Lego pieces” to create USD and ETH denominated yield strategies
• Identify possible technical and economic attack vectors and devise mitigation strategies
• Work with our dev team on technical implementation, automatization and optimizations of strategies

Requirements:

• Passion for blockchains and DeFi
• Quantitative training – computer/data science, physics, biology, mathematics, statistics, economics amongst others
• Ability to take a problem and take from start to finish by resourcefully leveraging our own team of researchers and developers, external collaborators, DeFi protocols, other market participants, etc.
